Image Quality
“We researched several different sensor brands before choosing the KODAK RVG 6100 Digital Radiography System. The RVG 6100 System provided the sharpest, clearest, and highest quality images – hands down. The high image resolution, combined with the affordable payment options, made this system the obvious choice for our practice.”
-Fleur Dentistry, Des Moines, IA

“Viewing the highest level of detail in radiographic images is of utmost importance when diagnosing and treating periodontal conditions. With the RVG 6100 System, I get crystal-clear high quality images in seconds, streamlining my diagnoses and helping me better communicate treatment options to my patients. For us, quality really counts and that quality means Kodak.”
-John Castillo DDS, San Clemente, CA

Time Savings
"We schedule about 20% less time for root canal appointments now that we have digital radiography. It no longer takes 10-15 minutes to develop an x-ray image."
-Joseph P. Grieco, DDS, Gentle Dental Care, Fairfax, VA

"I like having digital radiography for many reasons: speed, accuracy and reproducibility of the images; no processing, chemicals, cost of film, loose x-rays floating around or film getting caught in the processor. It's easier and faster for my staff to obtain x-ray images, and the patients are happy with less chair time."
-Joseph P. Grieco, DDS, Gentle Dental Care, Fairfax, VA

Patient Care
“Our RVG 6100 System takes patient care to a whole new level. In seconds after capture, our patients can view their images on a large computer monitor. They instantly become an active partner in the treatment process – from diagnoses, to treatment acceptance and continuance, as well as ongoing home care. The result: happier, healthier patients.”
-Paula Lentz, RDH, Moffett Dental Center, Harrisburg, PA

Practice Image
“Thanks to the Internet, patients are more informed than ever. In fact, many of our new patients ask if we use digital rather than traditional radiography before making their first appointment. New and existing patients alike feel more confident knowing that we have implemented the latest technologies to provide better, more modern, patient care. And, they are so impressed that we use KODAK digital products - a name synonymous with high-quality images.”
-Ron S. Cavola, DDS, Conyers, GA

Switched to KODAK Digital Radiography
“I'm an endodontist...it took very little time in the earliest days of my career to realize, that no matter what changed, I would always need to bring two things to my referrals and their patients...customer service and extraordinary results. As the last century passed, the showcasing those results meant digital radiography. It's never easy to make a determination on technology that will inexorably change. Thus, the most effective way aside from direct comparison of image quality, reference commentary from end users and software features is to learn to understand the difference in sensor quality from a technical perspective. I started initially with the leading system at the time [Schick], but after I began seeing imagery from members of an online endodontic community, I switched to the KODAK RVG 6100 Digital Radiography System and have simply never looked back. Their same attention to the "guts" of the technology is now showing up in the small focal field cone beam tomography unit, the KODAK 9000 3D Extraoral Imaging System. To practice as an endodontist today and determine treatment outcomes properly, three dimensional diagnosis and treatment follow-up is the sine qua non of the standard of care. In my opinion, based on interest, the sharing of case work for over a decade on "ROOTS", Kodak technology has no peer. Service in my region has been outstanding and since capital outlay for equipment is perhaps a third of the end cost that includes, training, maintenance, upgrades and simple wear and tear, I can only suggest that you start with the best and grow from there.”
-Kenneth S. Serota, DDS, MMSc, Endodontic Solutions, Mississauga, ONT

"I get an excellent image without doing any manipulation to it. This allows me to make my diagnosis quickly and accurately. Patients always comment about how much easier it is for them to see the x-ray versus the old film style.”
-Ronald K. Crabtree, DDS, Crabtree Dental, Katy, TX

“When I first started researching implementing digital imaging into my practice, I was concerned about the cost. But, now, there is no question about our exponential return on investment. We used to spend several hundred dollars each month on film, chemicals, recycling, equipment maintenance, and other supplies. Now, we obtain instantaneous digital images and integrate them directly in our patients’ electronic chart – allowing us to spend more time with our patients and on more valuable tasks. Since the images are immediately shareable, we can print or email them to referrals, patients and insurance companies without the tedious duplication previously associated with film. We have even converted our old darkroom into usable, more profitable space. It was definitely the right move for our practice.”
-Joseph F. Alvarez, DDS, Dentistry of Vinings, Atlanta, GA

Positioning
“As a busy pediatric practice, we need to capture images quickly and easily. The new RVG 6100 sensors – especially the size 0 for our little patients - are so easy to position to get the right shot the very first time. The rounded edges make positioning easy and comfortable even for the smallest patients. We can’t imagine practicing without them.”
-Elisabeth Rowold-Garciamendez, DDS, MS, Kids Pediatric Dentistry, Allen, TX
